Lisa Potter – Yard Owner
Lisa has a lifetimes experience working and competing in the equine industry. She began her career aged 13, when she started jumping horses with special permission from the BSJA. By the age of 14, she had progressed to Young Riders competitions, where her successes include being placed 3rd in the Young Riders Championship of Great Britain aged 15, and jumping at HOYS. She has also competed in International Area Trials and Derbys. At this time Lisa was training under Jabeena Maslin, who trialled for the Olympics. Having worked at many different yards including rehabilitation, hunting and dealing she went to work for Lynn Russell. She was head girl for 3 years showing Lynn’s Working Cobs and Hunters. Lisa has won Working Hunter classes at Royal Windsor and the Royal International, in addition to winning National Champion titles in the British Show Hack and Working Cob classes. She was also placed 4th at HOYS in the Working Hunter class and 2nd in the Ridden Cob class. She has also won and been placed at numerous County Shows. The next big venture in Lisa’s life was to set up from scratch and then run the very successful Denbies Stables for 10 years. During this time she looked after everything from childrens ponies to prix st George dressage horses. She also competed many clients horses including dressage to Advanced Medium at Hickstead and showjumping Fox Hunter at Royal Windsor. Lisa was training at this time under dressage rider Driess Roeufs
Lisa started her newest venture in Spring 2016 when she started running Loxhill Livery (formerly LBF Equestrian) a 27 box yard set on a 50 acre estate in the Surrey Hills.
